The Alna Fire Department proudly protects approximatly 700 people living in an area of 17 square miles. We operate out of one station located in Alna Center.  The Alna Fire Department consists of 24 volunteers. We are a paid on call department and have responded to over 60 calls this year.  We have mutal aid agreements with Wiscasset Fire Department and Whitefield Fire Department.

We are always looking for volunteer firefighters who would like to make a positive difference in their town.  We invite you to attend a meeting so you can meet us and find out what being a volunteer fire fighter is all about.
